24 Mars: Absolut Texas
Some memories from Texas.
Genuine Cowboy boots to Linda, the classic Texas star - who will hang in the storage room door where I have my mancave.
A Texas Longhorn sign to be hung inside my mancave.
A book that I received from Neil - Cowboy, Gamblers and Hustlers, that's about Byron "Cowboy" Wolford - a Texas gambler who grew up in Tyler.
The book "Meals to die for" - which I bought in the Huntsville Prison Museum. A book on death row prisoner's last wish meal.
Even found a bottle of Absolut Texas. Then we just had to buy a Texas Armadillo who had thought was cute but Neil was a pest who dug up the plot.
In New Orleans we found our blue dog as a true Texas Dog - painted by George Rodrigue - who comes from Louisiana. Its a numbered silkscreen 1 of 800.
